Peter Kennedy

Peter Kennedy is Assistant Manager Library IT at the Unversity of Canterbury Library. Peter has been involved in various Library IT areas over the last decade, but his work has seen an increased emphasis on digital projects over the last three or four years. This has included the implementation of a "digital library" system within the Library, work with Archival records, and the setting up a mechanism to collect digital theses.

Anne Scott

Anne Scott is the Manager, Library IT at the University of Canterbury, a position she has held for 12 years. Although her primary responsibility is managing and overseeing all IT aspects of the Library, Anne also remains actively involved in much of the project work carried out by Library IT. Anne has an involvement in the wider University IT picture and strives to ensure Library developments work in harmony with wider University developments. In the past, this has seen Anne complete an 18 month secondment to IT Services in a Web management role. The development of an institutional repository is another function she sees as vital to the University, and a project where it is important for the Library to provide leadership.
